Siesta Key Village

This is one of Sarasota's wonderful getaways. As soon as you cross the Siesta Bridge, you'll feel tensions release and you're really on vacation. For beachwear and supplies, the Beach Bazaar and Siesta T's are staples. Bliss offers jewelry, stylish tees, holistic gifts; Lotions and Potions will mix up your own custom fragrance, using natural essential oils; Foxy Lady, just around the corner, where Ocean Blvd turns into Beach Road, is a destination for women's and kids' fun clothing. Siesta Village is full of funky beach cafes and restaurants. Some serve breakfast and lunch only. Others stay open throughout the day and night. As you walk along Ocean Boulevard, you'll see and hear live music coming from many of them, adding to the laid-back ambience. If you need a wireless connection and a snack, head to Davidson's shopping plaza, and stop in at Local Coffee and Tea, which has free wifi.
